Michelle,
age 50, is an outdoors person, loves to play golf and in
fact has been a Club Champion at her home course. She
will often, in her words, “slap on a little lip gloss
and mascara” and that’s it! Her makeup goal was to be
able to glamorize herself for special occasions. She has
great large eyes which she was not playing up. Her
not-so-great “before” lashes now appear thicker and
longer. | |

Michelle
has applied Almond
Foundation. This evens out the
colors on her skin “removing” redness and the darker
areas. She is careful to apply the foundation under the
eyes and by the nose next to the eyes as well as the
front of the neck to even out her skin…then lightly
tissues off any excess foundation.

If you look carefully you can
see where Michelle applied Highlight (Light to
Medium) under her eyes. In step 5
when she applies the powder the highlight is camouflaged
and cannot be detected.

Michelle
has applied Ivory Eye
Shadow on her eyelids and Clydesdale Eye
Shadow above her lids, on and above
her eye bone. As you can see she has brought the darker
eye shadow around the eye and into the bottom of the
lower eyelashes.
Michelle’s
eyebrows have a lovely natural shape and she only needs
to make them a little more outstanding for special
occasions. She used Sable Eyebrow
Pencil, followed her natural shape
using an upward outward motion with short strokes. She
used 2 coats of Black
Mascara and the Sable Pencil
again for eyeliner. |

Michelle's surprise moment: She was most
surprised when she saw her eyes become so
outstanding...so glamorous...in such a short
period of time...She l-o-v-e-s the new
look. | |

Michelle applied
Deeper Dusty
Rose Cream Rouge on her cheeks being
careful to blend the edges so that there is no “stop”
sign or line of demarcation. As you can see there is
more color toward the center of her cheeks and then
blended down toward her lower cheek, up a little above
her cheek bone and blended out to her ears. This gives a
very natural look.

Michelle
powders down with Matte Beige Pressed
Powder to set her makeup
blending the colors together…it also takes the
shine off her skin giving it a more youthful
appearance.
She
usually wears a softer color lipstick but she
wanted to try a brighter color...so here she is in
Strut
Lipstick... looks good, right?
We filled out her top lip a little by making full
use of her upper lip using the Tress
Mauve Lip Liner Pencil. Then
she applied Apricot
Toast Lipstick in the center
of the lower lip for the glamour look and took the
dare with a touch of Lip
Gloss Fresh
in the center of the lower
lip!

Here Michelle
stepped back from the mirror – looked at herself from a
distance and thought she needed a touch more color on
her cheeks... she added a touch of Delightfully
Mauve Powder Blush.

“Thanks
Oleda for taking the time to guide me. I feel good
about my new look and believe I can actually do
it on my own now.
