Karen Tobman, age 54, a doctor of podiatry, had
little time for makeup and was ready for a makeup
routine that would fit in with her tight schedule. She
also wanted to develop a glamorous look that would suit
her for special social events. She is an avid golfer and
she and her husband love to cook.

Doctor Tobman chose Almond
Foundation to even out her skin
tone.

|
Here. Dr. Tobman used Ivory Eye
Shadow on her eyelids and chose Moccasin Eye
Shadow to apply above her lids,
bringing the color around the curve of the outside of
her eyes and tapering down into her bottom lashes.
She
also added Black
Mascara. (She has permanent eyeliner
on.) |

Next,
Highlight (Light to
Medium) was applied under her eyes
to off-set
discoloration.
She
used Deeper Dusty Rose
on her cheeks and applied a touch on
her forehead at the hairline. You will see it all blend
in when she applies powder.

To soften the
downward curves of the eyebrows she was given a “lift”
with Jet Black
Eyebrow Pencil. Yes, Oleda says
never to use Black unless you have very dark skin….but
Dr. Tobman wanted to try black, so it was used
ever-so-lightly with very thin “hairline” strokes… and
it did work well.
The
arc of her eyebrow was raised a bit to give a more
natural shape and a more flattering look to her eyes.
Her eyebrows were extended out very slightly. Then, most
important, they were powdered down lightly against the
hairs’ growth, leaving a natural look. |

Dr. Tobman's surprise moment: She was
surprised that applying makeup for a glamour look
was so much fun and so easy… also how so little
done to her eyebrows made such a big difference in
them looking more natural.

As
you can see, Dr. Tobman has a great natural lip line. In
the second picture she was asked to apply her choice of
lip color “her way” and this is how she did it. She
chose Pamper
Lipstick.
To
show her how to glamorize her lips for those special
social events Tress Mauve
Lip Liner was used to fill out and
take advantage of her full lip line. |

“Thanks
Oleda,
It
really has been fun and I now feel comfortable and
“safe” in wearing more makeup than I have in the past. I
love my new look, so does my
husband.

Tobman”
