Carmen Carmen
is Oleda's daughter-in-law

Yes,
Carmen is my daughter-in-law and the
mother of my 3 grandchildren. She is from Peru.
She has a beauty of her own without makeup, but
I asked her to let me make her over as a before
and after. She said, “OK Mom, I’m ready!” So
here she is, her makeover story below…yes she
likes it…so does my son, David. She advised
David that this is not going to be an everyday
affair, since she has such a busy schedule; but
Carmen can now apply the glamour makeup on her
own for special occasions, or whenever she
wishes. | |

Carmen
selected
Almond
Foundation and applied it to her
face being careful not to apply it on her eyelids.
Foundation on the eyelids can change the color of the
eye shadow and can cause the eye shadow to streak as
well. Then with a tissue she lightly removed any excess
foundation on the skin. This allowed the makeup to look
smooth and the powder to go on evenly and smoothly.

Carmen has a nicely shaped,
natural eyebrow line. So, it’s easy to follow her
natural line and just make them a little more pronounced
as you can see here. She used Sable Eyebrow
Pencil.
For
eye shadows she used Ivory
on the upper lids and Clydesdale on
and above the eye bone and down and around the outside
of the eye, into the lower eyelashes. See step 3 below
for blowup of this. She applied Black
Mascara and used Sable again
for her eyeliner. |

Carmen's surprise moment: Carmen had
never used highlight under her eyes before. She
was amazed to see how well it covered up her dark
circles. | | |

|
Carmen has
applied Dusty Mauve
Cream Rouge on her cheeks and gently
smoothed the color out so you cannot see where the edge
of the rouge begins or ends.
Next,
Carmen has “powdered down” with Matte Beige Pressed
Powder to blend Highlight, Cream
Rouge and Foundation together. She pressed the powder
and puff on the skin as opposed to rubbing it across the
face. Then she brushed any excess powder off using the
puff ever so lightly. She then added a touch more color
on her cheeks using Mocha Mauve
Powder Blush.

Carmen
has a beautiful natural lip line and really needs
very little done to them as you can see in the
"before" here. But for a change - if/when she
likes - she has learned how to fill out her top
lip just a little. She has chosen Strut
Lipstick color and then
applied, and used Tress
Mauve Pencil as a lipliner.
She then applied Apricot
Toast in the center of the
lower lip only. |

|
Carmen
has applied a touch of Fresh Lip
Gloss on the middle of her lower
lip… now she’s ready to go!

“Mom
asked me a few years ago if I wanted her to show me
how to do glamour makeup but I never had the
time. It’s difficult to think “glamour” with 3
children running around! But since she developed her
Oleda Makeup, I finally made time. I’m so happy I did. I
love it!
Thanks
Mom, Love, Carmen”
