Apply foundation all over the
face and neck, using a sponge for evenness. Make sure to
cover the skin right up to and under the eyes, and in the
corners of the eyes by the nose, as well. The skin in this
corner of the eye is often darker and needs foundation like
the rest of the face. So many women miss this point.
Do not apply on eyelids; it will cause your eye shadow to
smudge and possibly change color.
Remove excess foundation on the surface of the skin using a tissue lightly over the entire face and neck.
Your foundation should be about
the same color as your skin tone. A darker one would settle into
the pores, making them dark and noticeable. (Powder can
be about the same color or a bit darker, if you prefer.)
The foundation will allow Highlight
and Cream Rouge to go on evenly and smoothly. Then, when you
add Oleda® Powder, you will achieve an evenly blended “matt” finish, creating a soft, angelic look. ANY shine left on the face emphasizes lines and wrinkles. To test this, stand at a window with a hand mirror allowing the light to come in from the side before using powder. Then apply powder and see the difference. Go ahead. . . I’m
right . . . yes?
