A HEALTHY THYROID GLAND, YOUR BEST ALLY
Your Thyroid is responsible for regulating many of your vital body functions, including:
• Body weight
• Cholesterol levels
• Nervous system
• Muscle strength
• Body temperature
• Heart rate
• Metabolism and much more!
That's why it's essential to provide your thyroid with the nutrients it needs to stay healthy!
Thyroid Helpers is a unique combination of vitamins, minerals, herbs and amino acids, formulated to help maintain normal thyroid activity. Included in the formula are: L-Tyrosine: Recognized as a conditionally essential amino acid, some individuals are unable to naturally produce sufficient levels of L-Tyrosine and must obtain it from outside sources. This amino acid plays a key role in the production of the thyroid hormones Thyroxine and Triiodothyronine. Kelp and Bladderwrack: Providing naturally-occurring levels of the essential mineral Iodine which plays a vital role in the formation of thyroid hormones. Schizandra and Ashwagandha: Used for centuries as a part of Traditional Chinese Medicine, these two herbs are thought to have a beneficial impact on individuals with an underactive thyroid. Cayenne: This herb is included for its potential benefits in helping to increase circulation, ensuring that essential nutrients are effectively distributed throughout the body. Copper, Magnesium, Manganese, Molybdenum, Selenium and Zinc: These essential minerals are crucial for the production of thyroid hormones and thyroid function. Vitamin B-12: The most chemically complex of all vitamins, B-12 plays an extremely important role in the body, including normal thyroid function. A slight deficiency of vitamin B-12 can lead to anemia, fatigue, mania, and depression, while a long-term deficiency can cause permanent damage to the brain and central nervous system.

ALL ABOUT YOUR THYROID GLAND AND HOW IT CAN AFFECT
YOUR WEIGHT, MOOD, CHOLESTEROL AND MORE!
Your thyroid gland is a small gland, normally weighing less than one ounce, located in the front of the neck. It is made up of two halves, called lobes, that lie along the windpipe (trachea) and are joined together by a narrow band of thyroid tissue, known as the isthmus.
T3 - T4 EXPLAINED AND HOW THEY CAN REALLY MESS YOU UP IF OUT OF WHACK
The function of your thyroid gland is to take iodine, found in many foods, and convert it into the thyroid hormones T4 and T3.
Thyroid cells are the only cells in the body which can absorb iodine. These cells combine iodine and the amino acid tyrosine to compose T3 and T4.
T3 and T4 travel in your bloodstream to reach almost every cell in your body. The hormones regulate the speed with which your cells/metabolism work.
For example, T3 and T4 regulate your heart rate and how fast your intestines process food. So if your levels are low, your heart rate may be slower than normal, and you may have constipation/weight gain.
If T3 and T4 levels are high, you may have a rapid heart rate and diarrhea/weight loss.
THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN HYPERTHYROIDISM & HYPOTHYROIDISM, AND, THE SYMPTOMS
If T3 and T4 levels are high, the pituitary gland releases less TSH to the thyroid gland to slow production of these hormones, this is called hyperthyroidism.
If you suffer from many of the symptoms listed below, you may be suffering from hyperthyroidism:
• Hair loss
• Irritability or moodiness
• Sweating or sensitivity to high temperatures
• Shaking & Hand trembling
• Missed, light or irregular menstrual periods
When T3 and T4 levels are low in the blood, the pituitary gland releases more TSH to tell the thyroid gland to produce more thyroid hormones, this is called hypothyroidism
If you suffer from many of the symptoms listed below, you may be suffering from hypothyroidism:
• Trouble sleeping
• Tiredness and fatigue
• Difficulty concentrating
• Dry skin and hair
• Sensitivity to cold temperature
• Frequent, heavy periods
• Joint and muscle pain
